The Allegan Public Schools Transportation Department takes pride in providing safe transportation for our GSRP, Young Fives, and Kindergarten through 12th grade students. Our drivers maintain high professional standards and build positive relationships with their students.
Safety Is Our Top Priority
Throughout the school year, Allegan Public School buses provide safe transportation while traveling approximately 235,000 miles and transporting over 900 students on each of our morning routes and afternoon routes. We also provide additional transportation for our Allegan County Area Technical and Education Center students, along with providing transportation to almost 400 school and athletic events.
We maintain a fleet of 25 buses, employ 15 regular bus drivers as well as several substitute drivers. Our bus mechanics consistently receive the highest ratings from the Michigan State Police bus inspections.
