Annual Education Reports

Our Annual Education Reports provide key information on educational progress, improvement plans, building and district information, and more for Allegan Public Schools and its buildings. You can view the Annual Education Reports by clicking on the links below, or you may review a copy in the main office at your child’s school.

Budget and Salary / Compensation (pursuant to MCL 3888.1618)

  • Approved Deficit Elimination Plan: The district has not incurred a deficit.
  • District Paid Out-of-State Travel Information: There was no out-of-state travel to report in 2021-22.
  • District Paid Lobbying Costs: The district did not pay any lobbying costs in the fiscal year 2021-22.

Information and Requests

As a public institution in the state of Michigan, Allegan Public Schools is subject to provisions of the state’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Under the FOIA, “all persons, except those persons incarcerated in state or local correctional facilities, are entitled to full and complete information regarding the affairs of government and the official acts of those who represent them as public officials and public employees….” Consequently, any individual other than a federal, state or county prisoner has the right to inspect and/or receive copies of public records maintained by the District.
