Information and Requests

As a public institution in the state of Michigan, Allegan Public Schools is subject to provisions of the state’s Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Under the FOIA, “all persons, except those persons incarcerated in state or local correctional facilities, are entitled to full and complete information regarding the affairs of government and the official acts of those who represent them as public officials and public employees….” Consequently, any individual other than a federal, state or county prisoner has the right to inspect and/or receive copies of public records maintained by the District.

Surveys

Questionnaires and Results

In accordance with Section 164k of the Michigan State School Aid Act, Allegan Public Schools publishes district, local, state, and federal student survey questions and results on our website. Survey results are shared in compliance with the Federal Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Parents will be notified when new surveys are added to this page.
