I want to thank Mr. (Kenny) Whitcomb for being here every day and always greeting his students and working with them.
Ms. (Jennifer) Hamman was my saving grace my freshman year and continued to help me throughout my high school career. She has helped me through something major in my life and has helped me navigate how to handle hard things!
Mrs. (Jamie) Antoine is the best counselor and understands the students. I am happy she works with us.
Mrs. (Shelley) Baker is the best teacher ever, because she is really nice! She lets us do really fun stuff.
I love Ms. (Amanda) Boes, because she is a very kind-hearted teacher. Her attitude makes class more fun and enjoyable. I appreciate her so much.
Mr. (Jason) Eichbauer is the best! He is very inclusive and lets me work with all of the materials I need. He lets me work on independent art without question. I deeply appreciate it, as it gives me solace to create art freely, without restriction.
Ms. (KaSondra) Grandmason is very sweet to me and makes me feel like she thinks of me as a person and not just a student.
I love Ms. (Lori) Layman so much for everything she does. She is so understanding, and it always makes my day when I get to see her. TigerVention with her is amazing because she always helps me with my English work for Humanities. Ms. Layman is such a sweetheart.
I would like to shout out Ms. (Katie) Boelman, the middle school therapist. She has helped me a lot and has given me a lot more motivation. My room is cleaner now because of her!
This shoutout is for Ms. (Lori) Fletcher. She is always going out of her way to make her students feel welcome and that they are heard. We appreciate you!
I would like to shout out Mrs. (Christina) Festerling, because she does a lot for the student council and for the staff and students at our school.
This shoutout is for Mrs. (Chelsie) Heeres at West Ward. She is so caring, kind, and compassionate. I’m thankful for her support and her willingness to communicate no matter how big or small the need. We’re really going to miss her when we move on to first grade.
I would like to shout out Mrs. (Mallory) Miller, because she is a very nice teacher. She teaches well, and she is the best teacher I’ve had.
I want to shout out Ms. Juli (Alexander) for being there whenever someone just needs to talk or when someone needs something. She is always right there to help out! And she helps anyone who needs it without any hesitation whatsoever. So thank you, Ms. Juli!
A shoutout to Beth Ann DeLaet for making parent-teacher conferences with our multilingual learners so meaningful and easy! Thank you for all you do for our students.
As a parent and active volunteer, I wanted to say thank you to all of our district staff. I see how hard you work.
I would like to thank Ms. (Mallory) Miller for being a very good teacher. I do very well in her class, and she is good at the subject she teaches. I also feel like I can always go to her if I ever need anything. Her classroom is very comfortable for me, and she is just overall one of the best teachers I’ve ever had.

I would also like to thank Mr. (Christopher) Reeve and Ms. (Abby) Waynick for being great principals.
I want to shout out Mr. (Josh) Greene, Mrs. (Kay) Scharlow, and Mrs. (Becky) Calvert. I learned so much my 8th grade year because of these three teachers. I loved math after having two years with Mr. Green. Thank you to Mrs. Scharlow for making history class seem easy. And thank you to Mrs. Calvert for helping me with writing and finding books that sparked my interest.
I am a new kid at APS, and I wanted to say thanks to all the teachers and my classmates. You have supported me and helped me start a new school year! I’m so excited to finish out the school year with y’all. Thanks again. You are all the best.
