It was an amazing day for our Tigers at the Regional Championships in Sturgis! On the day we left with three Divison 2 State Finals qualifiers and a bunch of new lifetime bests. Congratulations to Kellen Chalupa, Bailee Dilley, and Jayden VandenAkker for earning the opportunity to represent Allegan on May 30th in Hamilton at the state championship meet! Bailee and Jayden were both regional champions in the pole vault and 100m hurdles, respectively. Jayden was runner up in the 300m hurdles and Bailee also placed 4th in the 400m. Kellen Chalupa placed 3rd overall in the 800m. Special recognition for outstanding efforts and new lifetime bests go to Eliza DeLaet (shot put), Odessa Barnhart (shot put and discus), Brody McDade (long jump), Connor Dittenbir (discus), Bailee Dilley (pole vault), and Kellen Chalupa (800m).
