It was a cold one and we may have seen a little snow, but our Tigers were on fire at the Belding Invite tonight! It was an all-around great night of competition resulting in numerous medal finishes and even some new lifetime best in challenging conditions.

In team scoring the girls finished in 7th overall while the boys placed 4th.
On the girl’s side the Tigers were led by Bailee Dilley with two 3rd place long jump/100m) finishes and one 2nd place (400m) finish on the evening. Other scoring and medaling finishes included Eliza DeLaet (discus), Nevaeh Williams (200m), and Anna Billman (3200m).
Eliza DeLaet set a new lifetime best in the discus with an outstanding effort of 80’7″!
On the boy’s side the team was led by Kellen Chalupa and Loghan Murphy who finished 5th/6th in the 1600m and 2nd/3rd in the 800m, respectively. Both Murphy and Chalupa ran legs on the gold medal-winning 1600m Relay along with Brody McDade and Bradyn Kosiorowski. Also scoring and placing for the Tigers was Nathan Martinez (long jump), Brody McDade (long jump/400m), Bradyn Kosiorowski (400m), Thomas Sigler (3200m), John DeLaet (pole vault), Ezra Smith (pole vault), Chase Clemons (300m hurdles). The 400m Relay (Dittenbir, Martinez, Smith, DeLaet) and 800m Relay (McDade, Kosiorowski, McDade, DeLaet) both placed 3rd overall.
