It was a great night of racing, jumping and throwing for our Allegan Tiger Track Stars! The girl’s team split their meets on the evening, defeating Black River but dropping a close one to Bridgman. Our boy’s team came away with the double Win, beating Black River handily and defeating Bridgman by winning the 1600m Relay in the last event of the evening.
For the girl’s team against Black River, indicidual meet champions included Bailee Dilley (100m,200m,400m, and long jump), Jayden VandenAkker (100m hurdles,300m hurdles, and high jump), Anna Billman (3200m), Odessa Barnhart (shot put). The 400m Relay of Falor,Williams,VandenAkker, and Copeland also notched a 1st place finish on the night! Other s orange finishes against Black Rover included Nevaeh Williams (100m and 200m), Anna Billman (1600m), Alyx Falor (100m hurdles and 300m hurdles) and Odessa Barnhart (Discus).
Competing against Bridgman, Dilley and and VandenAkker again both knocked out 1st place finishes in all their individual events to lead all team scorers. Rounding out the scoring for our Tigers against a tough Bridgman were Williams (200m), Billman (3200m), Falor (100m and 300m hurdles) and Barnhart (shot put and discus). Falor, Williams, VandenAkker and Copeland again teamed up for a 1st place in the 400m Relay as well.
On the evening we celebrated new lifetime best for Baillee Dilley (long jump), Anna Billman (1600m), and Alyx Falor (100m hurdles) in their respective events!
In the boy’s meet against Bridgman, individual 1st place finishes went to Kellen Chalupa (800m and 1600m) and Thomas Sigler (3200m). The 3200m Relay (Kellen Chalupa, Loghan Murphy,Thomas Sigler, and Ezra Smith), 800m Relay (Bradyn Kosiorowski, Brody McDade, Nathan Martinez and John DeLaet) and 1600m Relay (Chalupa, Murphy, Kosiorowski and McDade) all scored important points, finishing with 1st place finishes in their races. Other scoring finishers included Hauk Henrickson (shot put and discus), Chase Clemons (110m and 300m hurdles), Brody McDade (100m, and 200m), Nathan Martinez (400m), and Loghan Murphy(1600m and 800m).
Against Black River, meet champions again included Kellen Chalupa in both of his individual events and the 1600m Relay. Other 1st place finishes went to Henrickson (400m Relay, shot put and discus), McDade (100m,200m,1600m Relay,800m Relay) Martinez (400m, 16000m Relay, 800m Relay), Clemons (110m and 300m hurdles), DeLaet (800m and 400m Relays), Kosiorowski (800m and 1600m Relays), Connor Dittenbir (400m Relay) and Ezra Smith (400m Relay). Closing out scoring for the Tigers were finishes by Brandon Thrash (100m), Kosiorowski(400m), Murphy (1600m and 800m), Sigler (3200m), Dittenbir (shot put and discus),Matheson Vernia (shot put and discus) and Nathan Martinez (long jump).
Kellen Chalupa, Thomas Sigler, Chase Clemons, Hauk Henrickson and Nathan Martinez all set new personal bests on the evening!
