Thank you, Pine Trails families!

Superintendent's Update

Pine Trails families:

I want to personally thank you for your prompt response, patience, and flexibility following today’s city water main break that caused the closing of Pine Trails Elementary. We understand that unexpected situations like this can be disruptive, and we are deeply grateful for your cooperation in picking up your children from the Performing Arts Center after they were safely transported from the school.

I also want to recognize the incredible efforts of our Pine Trails teachers, support staff, transportation team, and food service department. Their calm and professional response ensured that students were transported safely, cared for, and provided lunch while they waited to be reunited with their families. Their dedication helped maintain an orderly and reassuring environment for our students during an unexpected situation.

Please know that the safety and well-being of our students and staff remain our highest priority. Following events like this, our district carefully reviews our procedures and response to identify opportunities to further strengthen our safety protocols and ensure we are always prepared to respond effectively.

We remain in close communication with city officials regarding the water main repair and will share updates with families and staff if there are any impacts to our buildings or operations.

As always, thank you for your understanding, partnership, and continued support.
