APS Website Style Guide

This style guide is offered to help bring consistency to what is published and shared with the community on the Allegan Public Schools website. This is not meant to be a comprehensive guide to English and grammar but instead serves to address many commonly asked questions about style and several of the more common errors. The inspiration for this guide comes from Western Michigan University’s excellent Writing Style Guide.

If you have any suggestions for the APS Website Style Guide, please email them to Rob Patin at rpatin@alleganps.org.
