Allegan boys traveled to South Haven. Allegan started strong in game one as Fletcher Beilfuss started with the first 7 strikes before getting a little tight with a shot he finished with a 278 game, Jacob Wesche added a 210 and Gunner Evans 194 as Allegan won easily 964 to 769. Game two was more of the same as Allegan won 913 to 714, Shane Wesche led the way with a 201 game Gunner added a 198. Allegan won both Baker games 157 to 123 and 191 to 164, The win improved the boys record in the Wolverine conference to 4-1 and 10-1 overall.
Allegan girls lost to South Haven 28-2 but the score didn’t represent how close it was early on. In Game one South Haven finished very strong and squeaked by winning 675 to 669. Haylee Thompson led the team with a 190 game and Brooklynn Reed¬† had a 163 game. That close loss took the wind out of the girls sails as they lost game two 837 to 539, Haylee again led the team with a 152. Both Baker games went South Havens way as they won game one 150 to 124 and game two 147 to 117. The loss dropped the girls to 2-3 in the Wolverine and 6-5 overall.
Next match is next Wednesday in Allegan against Plainwell.
