The mood was electrifying at the lanes as Allegan hosted Three Rivers in a Wolverine Conference match.
Allegan Boys and Three Rivers Boys were both 2-0 coming into tonight’s match. Both teams started out game one throwing mark after mark. Allegan pulled away in the 6th and won game one easily 960 to 718.  The team was led by Fletcher Beilfuss’s 243 game and Layton Brown’s 187. Game two Allegan with all the confidence from that game one win jumped out early and never looked back winning 906 to 780. Gunner Evans led the way in game two with a 224 game. The two-game total of the regular games gave the boys an early Christmas present of a new School Record 1866 series. What an awesome job each and every boy did covering spares when they didn’t strike. Baker games were split Allegan won game one 155 to 118, and lost game two 172 to 174.  Allegan won the match 24 to 6. Allegan improved to 3-0 in the Wolverine and 7-0 overall.
Allegan Girls were very solid today against Three Rivers. Game one Brooklynn Reed led the team with a 148 game as the Lady Tigers won 609 to 538. Game two Haylee Thompson’s 162 and Theresa Tice’s 140 game led the girls to a 642 to 519 win. Baker games went in favor of Three Rivers Game one 132 to 95, and game two 146 to 102. Allegan Girls won the match 18 to 12. Allegan improved to 2-1 in the Wolverine Conference and 4-3 overall.
The next match is South Haven on January 5th.
