Swim and Dive Places 2nd at the SCC Conference Meet

The Allegan Women’s Swimming and Diving Team moved up in the rankings, finishing second after a strong Conference Championship showing.  The Tigers had two varsity record setting 1st place relay swims.  Ashlyn Clement, Hannah Antkoviak, Brooke Houser and Hayley Staffen won a nail biter in the 200 Medley Relay.  Then, Antkoviak, Ally Brown, Houser and Staffen teamed up to dominate the 200 free relay.  Earning All-Conference Honors were Kenna Baker, Madi Wilson, Morgan Kruithoff and Caylie Riess, 200 medley relay; Houser, 200 free and 100 fly; Staffen, 200 IM and 100 back; Antkoviak, 50 and 100 free; Brown, 50 and 100 free; Clement, 50 free and 100 back; Taylor Price, diving; and Brown, Clement, Riess and Morgan Kruithoff, 400 free relay.  Price earned her way to a regional birth with her 7th place finish.  Also scoring crucial points for the Tigers were Kruithoff, Alexis Crowe, Sami Cook, Baker, Riess, Jaelyn Woodstock, Kelsey Clark, Wilson, Price, and Haylee Thompson.  Price competes in Diving Regionals at East Grand Rapids on Thursday and the Tigers head to State Championships in Holland in two weeks.  Great Job Ladies on an outstanding performance at the conference meet!  Go Tigers!
